My brother and I have been searching our family history and we have got back to Edmond john Matson and wife Mary. I understand he may have been the Deacon of this church. Edmond and Mary had 10 children. Their son John Smith Matson came to New Zealand and was married in 1864 to Honoria Higgins from Manchester Eng. at the Anglican Cathedral New Plymouth NZ. Edmond was our G, G,Great Grandfather
